Islanders Rescue Diver Course
Islanders Dive Center Rescue Diver Course is designed to improve dive skills and teach emergency response for dive situations. The Rescue Diver Course requires three sessions: one in the classroom, one in the pool, and one day of training in open water.
The Rescue Diver Course can be completed during an intense two-day training at the dive site, but is better completed in a more comfortable classroom atmosphere. The times required for each portion of the Rescue Diver Course are:
- four hour instructional session in the classroom
- five hour skills training session in the pool
- full day of training in open water.
This course is an outstanding way to become a more confident diver and learn how to handle a dive emergency. The Rescue Diver Course meets the prerequisite for Master Scuba Diver and/or Divemaster.
The cost for the Rescue Diver Course is $450.00 This course fee includes: Rescue Crewpack, resource materials, pocket mask, pool and instruction fees, dive site entry fees, and equipment needed.
Islanders Master Scuba Diver Program
Master Scuba Diver is not just a course, but also a quest to become a better diver. The journey starts by taking the different courses that will give you a wealth of dive training and experience.
On the path to Master Scuba Diver you will acquire many new diving skills, try new techniques, hone the skills you already have and have a lot of fun!
Once you have completed the necessary training and logged 50 dives you will receive a Master Scuba Diver application, which we will help you complete. Application and fees are sent to PADI or SDI. Once your application is processed and accepted, you will join the elite as a Master Scuba Diver, the highest non professional rating.
