PARTICIPANTS:
- Children ages under 8: do snorkeling & enjoy pool
- Children ages 8-9: scuba dive in shallow water (max 6 ft.)
- Children 10 & up: scuba dive in shallow water and into the deep end (max 12 ft.)
- Adults can join-in to swim also and for an additional fee they can try Scuba!
WHERE: At your private pool or one of Islanders training pools.

RESERVATIONS:
Make your reservation well in advance. $100 non-refundable deposit to confirm
reservation. Full payment is due 2 weeks prior to party. Reservation must have each diver’s name, age, contact info., height and weight.
REQUIREMENTS:
Each scuba participant and his or her parent/guardian must fill out and sign the appropriate
waiver (based on age) before entering the water. If the participant checks
“YES” on any condition on the medical history portion, the participant must receive
a doctor’s approval before participating in scuba. Adults are welcome to help supervise
and take a swim. Each “diver” must sign a liability release waiver.
PADI SEAL TEAM
The PADI Seal Team is for young divers who are looking for action-packed fun in a pool by doing exciting scuba AquaMissions.
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to dive with flashlights, take pictures underwater or float effortlessly like an astronaut? These are AquaMissions that introduce you to wreck, navigation, buoyancy, underwater photography, environmental awareness and more. Here’s your chance to do some cool stuff in the pool, meet friends and share in the adventure of the underwater world.
The Fun Part
The best part of the Specialty AquaMissions is they reinforce safe diving skills while the kids are having fun. PADI Seals get to sample a wide variety of dives. In addition, it provides parents with a structured program that lets their children develop skills, learn about the aquatic environment and have a lot of good, clean fun. This is also an excellent way to introduce kids to scuba diving prior to full Open Water Diver certification.
What You Learn
The PADI Seal Team/Master Seal Team program is broken into two parts:
Seal Team, AquaMissions 1 – 5 teaches kids the basics of diving – things like buoyancy control, mask clearing, regulator recovery, etc. There are two class/pool sessions.
After building a solid foundation of scuba skills, kids can move on to become Master Seals a program filled with AquaMissions, which usually last about an hour. There are five class/pool sessions.
PADI Seal Team and Master Seal Team
- Helps children learn responsibility
- Teaches children about the aquatic environment
- Is a fun pool-only experience
- Is conducted by certified, trained PADI Professionals
